Now, ka knows why, but I fancy writing at least some part of this entry in English - may my only-Russian-speaking friends forgive me. (Also, to whom in may concern: I picked that "ka" bit from King's Dark Tower series, of which I'm now reading the second book and enjoying it beyond measure).
So, on with teh news. I'm finally back on track with my Oriental dance lessons; first one took place last night, and now I feel very relaxed, extremely body-conscious and somewhat loose-jointed. All in all, it feels just right ;) A bit older news is that I resumed regular swimming sessions a little bit over a month ago, which also keeps me in tonus and good temper. You can't (or can? :) imagine how strong is the pride of achievement in me when I moor the swimming-pool side after doing 1500 meters in brace in an hour's time (I mean, it's not really a lot, but it's a lot for me as a beginner). So, now I finally have a sport activities schedule: swimming - twice a week, dancing - twice a week. And about time, eh? :)
Slowly, but steadily I'm resuming my artwork practices; picked up aquarelle painting where I left it more than a year ago. I might not be good at it, but I enjoy the process, and as the days grow longer I have more and more time to practice in the daylight. Bag-making is also there, mostly in form of projects for now, but it's high time I started using all the materials I brought from the States last Autumn.
One more interesting thing. Recently (or, maybe, not as recently as it seems) my artistic and talented friend
iz_vozduha told me she had begun studying the Japanese language. I think it's fascinating, and I now wish I'd joined her then, but time's lost - at least for now - and I don't think I'll be able to afford language lessons any time soon (what with all the sport investments :) But envying my friend (in a good way) as I am, I couldn't resist at least making an attempt at self-education. So I digged up the Japanese alphabets and I'm resolved to study'em and learn'em by heart (both in verbal and written form), and then maybe proceed to studying by the Minna-no-Nihongo text-book. We'll see what comes out of this crazy plan :)
There. A complete English-language entry. Never thought I could manage it :)
Kanpai!
