Back to being lonely
This weekend was AWESOME!!! Tom came down on Thursday and left today. On Thursday we didn't do much, just went and saw Star Wars with Grant and Meghan. It was really good! I usually don't care for those movies all that much, but I liked this one.
Then on Friday I bought a new CD player for my car. I dropped off my car at Best buy and we went to the beach and randomly met up with Anne and Raquel. My CD player is awesome!!! For $300 it better be awesome. Friday night we had a BBQ for my dad's birthday and sadly, Curt made us watch Napoleon Dynamite with him.
Saturday was our lucky day...nothing could've been better! We were going to the beach to meet up with Grant, but Anne, Raquel, and Lucier were all there too! So that was fun! Then we wanted to go out to dinner, but Marlin Grill didn't have reservations available until 9 :( I called Chops at like 5:30 and luckily they had a spot available at 7:30, so we went there instead. Before we went to dinner, I ran by my work to pick up my paycheck, and suprisingly I got an extra $10 from tips!! Then we went to Polo cuz Tom wanted a shirt, and the girl was really nice and gave him $10 off!!! After that we went to dinner which was REALLY REALLY GOOD! If you haven't gone to Destin Chops, you totally should. You're missing out. As we were walking out, Tom wanted to look at the cigars they had, and the guy that worked there was like, "Oh, you look like a really nice guy, and it's my last day here, so here you go!" and he handed him a $15 cigar for free! It was a crazy night! We were feeling really damn lucky, so we went and bought a bunch of lottery tickets, but I guess our luck ran out because I'm still poor!
Oh, oh! I was suppose to work today out at the store in Seaside, but yesterday a lady from work called me and told me that I didn't have to work after all, and they're closing both stores at 3 and the owners are taking us out on a sunset cruise on a sailboat!!! How much luckier can I get?!! This weekend has just been amazing! Tom called his work to try to get someone to cover his shift on Monday so he could stay tonight and go on the cruise with me, but he couldn't. :( That would have made it absolutely unbelievable if he could've stayed. But oh well, it was still a great weekend.
