Early yesterday morning, Lucian broke a blood feather. At first we had no idea why he was bleeding but then we were able to identify where and why. We got some flour on it to help it clot and then called the vet when they opened. Summar said that he thought Lucian should be fine but to keep an eye on him and to take him to Dr Kris because they're closer, if we needed to. Lucian started acting like his normal self and we didn't see any new bleeding so we decided he was okay. But, god, that was a panic.
And I've had to switch to firefox because IE has a memory leak and I couldn't leave it open for more than a hour at a time without it taking up over 50% of my CPU and RAM. Finding a font on here that I could read was a pain in the ass 'cause it doesn't use font smoothing and IE does.
I got an email from aunt Margie the other day and she's going through more of grandma's stuff. She's gonna be sending a box to my dad soon with more stuff on the family tree (she knows I'm interested in it so she's been looking for stuff for me).
