Written on 3-1-2005, at home...
Thinking about 2004's last days......
The disaster at Thailand, India, Sumatra and many of the islands there (I still can't believe some islands actually disappeared.... it's so terrible..) ...... and then on Thursday 30th night, the fire at a concert here, where so many people died (some friends of my friends got seriously hurt there).... and then on Friday 31st, I get a phonecall from a friend and she tells me that the father of one of our friends died that day....
If last week has to be described in one word..... I can't really choose one....... crappy? horrible?
And the fact that three people I really admired died, one this afternoon and the other two last year.... they were some of the best journalists here, and worked both on TV and radio......
What a fucking horrible way to celebrate New Year...... I just hope next will be better.........
