I hurt inside

slowly yet sherly am i loosing sight of the working of the internet. the little doo dads that you do to keep up with your firends and the pages from facebook to myspace are becoming so vast in their diversity and complexity that i loose sight of them almost before i get a glimps. there are now more sight and spaces to post pictures and vidio and writing and 'fact' that i start to get a little light headed. they have become so complex and diverce in their personalization gadgets that one almost need to do nothing but work on them just to keep up with more than one. what do you do when the number of friends you have over the computer far exeeds the number of people you know in real life? when every single bit of information that make you you is broadcasted on line. a single piece of ciber space can become more personalized than the very room you in which you spend all of your time. it has become the sole device in which most people express themselves. i realize that the real world may not be as free and fantastical as the world of the internet but can we not get the same freedome from books and our own imagination? some of us use the internet to become the mythical creatures we so believe ourselves to be. it would be nice to be able to experience that leval of freedome, but it has been my experience that while it is a little more real, in the end it is still all in your head and att he end of the day we must come back to our plain, boring, unsupernatural and wholy original human being moretal lives. with all of the unfortunate emotional conections they come with. it's it great to long for something so much that it fisically hurts deep within your very soul?
