the songbird's predicament

Don has asked me to sing a song at his band's final concert, which is only three weeks away (May 27th, most likely at Bill's Bar in Boston, if anyone is interested in showing up). I should mention that his band does covers of rock tunes. September's concert featured tunes by Bon Jovi, Radiohead, The Rolling Stones, and others. So, he's asked me ( Read more... )

Sadly, Annie is not in my vocal range. She goes too low for me at times.

And I don't think I know any Dusty Springfield. Though you are probably the person to ask for advice on such things! :)

Dusty Springfield -> Son of a Preacher Man. Best song on the Pulp Fiction soundtrack. :)

There's also Stevie Nicks, though she's pretty low-range, too...
