Some thoughts about Honey and Clover...
Despite all the things I have to do for school (such as writing a poem, reviewing for a quiz in Physics, and doing a report for English for tomorrow), I ended up watching Honey and Clover, starring Toma Ikuta, again...
At first, I just downloaded this because it has Toma Ikuta in it (during those times, I was in a HanaKimi hangover) and I didn't even mind the story at all. But upon watching the first episode, I was instantly drawn in... Ikuta's character, Takemoto Yuta, is an ultimate character that is a symbol for anyone that has ever experienced failure or disappointment in their life (unless you were living under a rock this whole time... or you're just really, really lucky...), and (for me) a source of strength in countless occasions...
As I was sitting in front of my computer doing various stuff completely unrelated to studying, there was a line that completely caught my attention. It was said to Takemoto by Morita-san, and it made me pause the video to think about it.
"You've always been like that... you're afraid to reach out your arms for something you like because you're afraid that you'll fall..."
(or something along those lines)
I experienced something similar yesterday...
The chance was right in front of me...
But I didn't do anything...
I stood there, unable to say anything... and then I just walked away...
Sorry for my emoness~
