November Return

After an exhausting month, I am finally returning to Live Journal and to writing in general.

October was insane, mostly due to the fact that where I work (my adult, nine to five job) they take Halloween very seriously... I mean VERY seriously. Each department is split into groups and asked to decorate a cubicle with a Halloween theme and the winners are gifted the ultimate award -- The Ghoulie. Along with the coveted bragging rights comes free PTO time and a lunch paid for by our company.

Being the youngest on my team and the one who unfortunately has way too many creative ideas, I was nominated to captain our crazy Halloween ship and I must say, I did a fine job. Our team won with our Transylvania Medical Group themed cubicle, in which each of our team members was featured as a spooky, creature doctor for those in the here-after.

On top of that competition, I was also entered in the costume contest and happily my Cruella De Ville costume took first place there as well.

So all in all, October was a crazy busy month with hours upon hours spent in Photoshop creating graphic designs and days spent crafting my costume but it was well worth it. Now though, as November is upon us, I am grateful to once again be involved with Nanowrimo (National Novel Writing Month).

November is all about writing so get ready to see some new work and new updates on current work including new chapters for A Ghost Story - Snarry fiction, as well as a brand new historical fiction entitled Diary of Rayne (based VERY loosely off the TV Show Reign, though it is set many years before the show takes place and features only the main historical figures of King Henry II, Frances, Sebastian and Henry's consort and mistress).

Thanks to those who have been reading and commenting on my journal. I look forward to bringing more original, steamy fiction goodness your way.
