Yeah, this is that story. You know the one. Someone’s on the right side of the tracks and someone else is on the wrong side, and they hook up and breakdown the whole youth social structure and it’s amazing and reinforces our ideas about love or whatever.
A lot of the times there’s singing and dancing. It’s a fucking trip.
This is that story.
Except not. I fucked it up a little. Sorry.
The kid from the right side of the tracks is named Nate. Every day he puts on his grey uniform from Saint Michael’s Collegiate and thinks about the future, the straight and narrow path he’s on and how much he fucking hates it.
He gets straight As in school and is on the rowing team, because his school’s rich enough to fund that kind of shit. Rowing practice is on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
On Fridays, most of them at least, Nate and the kid from the other side of the tracks, Brad, meet in a field and try and beat the shit out of each other.
It’s like fight club, except this time you’re sure the two dudes will end up fucking, instead of them being the same guy.
Nate used to never win, but he’s getting better. He quit running and started taking boxing classes on Saturdays.
Brad just grew up getting into fights. It helps to explain why he’s in military school. He’s never done anything really bad, but he’s done enough mid-range shit to warrant a regime of learning and discipline.
He doesn’t mind so much, not when he wins most of the time, careful to avoid Nate’s stupid pretty face, going for the solar plexus instead. It’s satisfying watching Nate go down into the crushed yellow grass, gasping.
He’s still resisting the urge to climb on top of Nate and drink his victory out of Nate’s mouth, but we all know that won’t last long.
The story has to go a certain way, after all. Within a month they’ll be fucking in this field, hands grinding down on the dirt, biting each other’s shoulders, grunting when they come in their pants.
Oh, Rayray. Tell me more of this intriguing and sexy story please!
I love that Brad never goes for the face because, duh, he's not stupid and god them rolling around in that field is nnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnghfdkasjfhsl. LOVE!

Okay, yeah, I died laughing.

LOVE the inevitability of it. Also, hot boys and fighting turning to fucking and YES, PLZ.
Goes without saying, but the voice in this is fan-fucking-tastic.
This is awesome. Such an different way of telling the inevitability of Brad and Nate being boys and fighting and falling for each other. Love this. Loooooove this.
[Did you notice that my comments are getting repetitive? It's all "love this, love that..." It's all your fault. ;)]
Dude, I am totally spamming your LJ with 8 million comments, apologies! But what's happening up in here? So fucking great.
Fight/fuck... Love that. So much. Also love that Nate starts taking boxing classes. He just wants the "fights" to last longer, hee... Also, adding my voice to the love for the outside POV. That's some good shit.

They get so dirty. After, Brad tries to brush the dirt off Nate's shoulders, but he did a good job grinding it into the fabric.
"Sorry," Brad says, pointing. "About that."
Nate just pulls him in for a kiss.

The FC reveal was the biggest disappointment OF MY LIFE. It was only masturbation all along! :(

Thanks! Writing a completely separate narrator was hella fun!
