Hunh?
Hey, long time no post. So somebody noticed that I hadn't updated in 21 weeks or so. What can I say, posting on LJ just doesn't quite do it for me like it used to. Oh well, here's a lil update either way (I apologize in advance to anyone who might comment and expect a speedy comment back... you might have to wait).
Work life:
Well, right now I'm in between jobs. My seasonal contract with Costco is finito and they're expecting sales to cool off, so they told me to expect a call around March. Had an interview yesterday, but not exactly hopeful of it. We'll see.
School life:
I'm taking a semester off to re-evaluate what it is I want to do. Sure, I enjoy Crim but as for opportunities afterwards, well, it has high competition. Plus, I realize that the prospect of dealing with rapists and murderers everyday can be daunting, so I'm taking a second (or third/fourth) look at what I want to do for a career.
Social life:
Enh, kinda slow right now. I've now got a taste for texas hold'em poker, so I play a game every now and then with the boys from Costco. I had to miss the large tournament they were having though last weekend. I mean come on, 45 bucks to play? I mean sure, the winner would get about 600 in return, but luck plays it's role in that game, and I'm not willing to put that much cash on the line right at this moment. Still, would have been fun just to see how far I would have gotten.
