Title: Brotherhood ( Table of Contents) Rating: PG-13 Disclaimer: Nothing you recognize is mine. I gain nothing of material value from this. Pairings: Gen Chapter1Chapter2a-- 2b XXXXX
I love how Jacob first sees Daniel as a kid and then slowly comes to respect him (and how interesting that Selmac refers to Lantash, not Martouf, when Martouf is usually the one who does the talking). Fantastic rendition of how your Daniel, unfamiliar with Earth still, manages to find Seth. And hee! at Daniel talking his way into the mission, and the snark of having to listen to Jack. :)
And then OW when Daniel probes to find out what it must have been like for Skaara and Sha'uri. Oh, Daniel.
I'm not always sure what's going on with Martouf/Lantash. Most of the other Tok'ra's symbiotes seem to take precedence more than the host; I assumed he was usually his host in the presence of the Tau'ri to make them less uncomfortable (also because Martouf likes Sam and Lantash is a hothead), just as Jacob/Selmak is usually Jacob among the Tau'ri even though Martouf refers to him mostly as Selmak or in the Netu episodes.
Erk--talking about Tok'ra is confusing. Too many names. Anyway, yay Jacob!
