Oh, and this little snippet: Teal’c had shown him the weak points in Jaffa armor. One half-sentence that speaks volumes about the friendship and mentoring that goes on between Teal'c and Daniel. We haven't seen much of that, so far - I hope we'll be getting more soon. Although that last little exchange at the birthday party (and aw, even Hammond was there!) was just lovely.

One of my regrets throughout this is that there's less on-screen Daniel/Teal'c friendship. Aside from one kind of intense chapter later on, you're right, Teal'c ended up definitely there, but more in the background to the Jack/Daniel friendship.
