...November minus February= 9 months
Hmmm haven't been here for a while.
Ever have one of those days, where everything that surrounds you annoys you in some seemingly insignificant way? When it all combines it makes for this deadly mixture of frustration, some inner urge to smash it all into itty bitty pieces. The house is a mess, there's stuff on the floor, plates scattered about the living room, small pebbles and thorns embedded into the carpet. Ash and wrappers scatter the coffee table where no soul thinks to deposit their trash into the appropriate receptacle. Cords and cables strewn about, like electric snakes squirming their way around the floor and crawling up the leg of the table. Thin layers of dust build up on every surface, weighing down my house with particles of nothing.
Wouldn't it be nice, to slip away for a while. Fuck all of this garbage, it'll be waiting for me when I return. Maybe there's no need to come back, just let it all collect its dust and get sucked up back into the house. It'll eat it all alive.
Time to unplug from the world. We'll fix it all on re-entry.
