hereSummary: Merlin Emrys is normal. He is ordinary and lives with his two friends in an ordinary flat in Surrey, he writes for a bi-monthly magazine and writes for himself during dark nights and much-too-early mornings, he has too many feelings and grudges himself for it. He figures the only thing that makes him extraordinary are his dreams that don’t feel like dreams at all -they feel like memories-, his magical powers that are turned on and off like a switch and the fact that a beautiful man just entered his life like a whisper and he’s slowly falling in love.
Author’s Notes: I acknowledge @hobnailedboots my lovely Ash, for being my braintwin for the first part of this story. I acknowledge
ellyjayne for her cheerleading. I acknowledge ,
flypaw my baby monster, for everything she’s done for me. I acknowledge Andrew and Ira for being Andrew and Ira and pulling me up when things were getting bad. I acknowledge Dani, my embrace rock, for being my partner-in-crime in the fight against breakfast juice and Gwaine. I acknowledge @the muppet for being flawless and my artist for putting up with me.
But, mostly, I acknowledge the wonderful people I have met in the course of the last few months, who have changed my life and brought happiness into it and have inspired me countless times, including -but not limited to- Arrie, Caitlin, Bella, Matt, Grace, Ivan, Maz, Rosie, Lisa, Rae, Haley and Bella. All these words wouldn’t have meant half as much if it weren’t for you.
This story is split into three ways: to M and A, for being real, to Samantha and James, for being in love, and to Tiffany, for simply everything.
