What a waste.

I thought it wasn't,
but it really was.

I didn't want it to be,
but that's the way it is.

This is what I get,
for putting myself out there.

Damn you nameless,
You almost had me.

But it wasn't a joke,
or was it just a creul one?

I'm sick of how some people work,
and how life is just an act.

It comes down to this,
we humans are born to die.

And if you get everything you want in life,
Than what is there?

So perhaps I'll just have to work harder,
Next time.
