Finally had a day off today. Spent most of it with the parents driving out to New Braintree to visit mother's boss. He and his wife just had a new baby and we got to see their awesome hunting lodge turned home. It looked so cool inside- like a colonial era house but with a log cabin touch. They also have a killer view of the countryside and boston (but this comes as no surprise considering the mother of a hill they live on). Anyway, talked with Tittina, whose mother is spanish, and who lived in Spain and Europe. We talked about my going to Oviedo. Her dad even brought out a map and told me of some places to go. He also told me that it'll be a very warm winter (since I'm going in January) with little chance of snow. He also mentioned it would be very rainy, but at the same time very green and a lovely area. Tittina also said the people were really nice in that region and that I definetly should live with a family. And get used to eating sea food. ^^;;; That'll have to be my goal for the summer- to learn to tolerate fish and beans. This'll be interesting.

Got very homesick for Amherst while driving home. I miss being in cow country and at college. Only a few more months!! Anyway, got home in time to watch the second half of the world cup. Watched Italy finally win! I was very surprised the french didn't, but I'm not going to complain since I was hoping Italy would win. Anyway, I think I'm gonna succumb and take a nap.
