Summary: prompt from the akame mass comment ficcy thing: Akame as architects who work together a lot...usually out of necessity. Jin designs the exteriors so that people will actually want to use the buildings, while Kame makes sure they don't fall down around their ears. Basically Jin and Kame stuck together working for the same client, with Kame having to put up with Jin. And then there's the obligatory drafting table sex. ( original thread)

01

Sometimes Kame wonders how Jin got his job. Sometimes even how he graduated from architecture school. Jin is daydreamy and draws picture book fairy tale buildings and castles in the sky.

And maybe that is how Jin landed this project. (The client, Ueda, practically wanted a castle.) And as always, Kame is assigned as his partner to make sure the building actually stands. Seriously, if Jin were to design a car with square wheels, Kame would have to be the one to somehow make them work.

The exterior of the building is a hodgepodge of things thrown together: Gothic and modern and art deco and everything in the books. (Kame is surprised there isn't a moat with alligators--There's already a lookout tower) And at the proposal meeting, Ueda had approved it with starry eyes.

They are hunched over stacks of blueprints side by side, tomorrow's deadline creeping steadily closer.

"Damnit, Jin. This door is against code regulation," Kame grumbles, slashing out with red ink that probably matches his bloodshot tired eyes.

And then he spots--Oh my god, what is that--going against all possible logic-- Kame could strangle him.

Kame jabs his finger at a staircase that you can't even access, protruding out from the back of the elaborate building, at the third story level.

"Where the hell does that lead to?!" Kame almost wants to shriek; it comes out in a tight, strained voice.

Jin blinks.

"Oh. Nearly forgot about that."

Kame huffs, shakes his head, and resumes fixing all of the details that Jin always seems to overlook. With the millions of mistakes, Kame feels like Jin is so incompetent to the point that sometimes, sometimes he has the inkling that it's on purpose.

Jin peeks over at Kame, hearing the other mumble to himself. Sometimes, Kame's so caught up in his work that he won't even notice when he accidentally elbows Jin. If he's lucky, Jin will get a slap on the hand if Kame needs a different pen.

At another grumbled curse, Jin ducks his head and smiles, busying himself drawing in another arch. Seeing as Kame is such a workaholic, Jin knows this is the only time he can really spend with him, alone on these nights before deadline. Even if it means no sleep until four a.m.

“Ah~ Finally,” Jin says, stretching his arms above his head once they are out of the conference room. He trails after Kame, who is clutching the blueprints to his chest. They head back towards the workroom with all the drafting tables, whilst the rest of the office make head in the opposite direction, chattering amiably as it is the beginning of lunch hour.

Kame pulls at the collar of his white shirt, loosening his neck tie to combat the warmth of the summer day. He is tired, but satisfied after this successful meeting. He drops down the large sheets of paper onto the drafting table. That’s one less thing on his to-do-list, and it’s relieving, though there are so many things still on his mind. He does not even mind when Jin sidles in next to him.

Leaning on the corner of the table, Jin takes a sip of his now lukewarm coffee, before clunking it down atop the blueprints.

“Ne, we did a good job today, huh?” Jin comments aloud.

Kame does not respond, muttering to himself about what else he has to get done today, arms crossed over his chest.

“Ne. Kame.”

Still no acknowledgment from the shorter man.

“Kameeeee~”

Jin suddenly darts his arm out to tug on his Kame’s sleeve--but he never reaches Kame, for his elbow bumps into something hard.

“Ah!” Jin bursts out, startled. His eyes widen at the coffee mug, tipped over the brown fluid spilling over and seeping into the blueprints.

“AKANISHI! DAMNIT, DAMNIT.” Kame screams, and he rushes to try and get the first sheet up, to try and prevent the rest of the stack from getting stained, but stops when he immediately notices the wet material begin to tear.

Furious, Kame slams a tight fist down onto the table. He shoots Jin a glare, and the other seems to shrink a little at the harsh look.

Kame’s fist is so tight, his nails dig into his palm, and he’s gritting his teeth so hard that his jaw hurts. Damn Akanishi. Lack of sleep and just Jin in general was starting to grate on his nerves.

“W-We could always reprint them...” Jin meekly suggests.

“Do you know how many of those we would have to reprint? Do you?” Kame seeths, “And we need to deliver these to construction by three thirty today!”

With nothing but the man in front of him to take out his frustrations on, Kame suddenly grabs Jin by the collar of his shirt, yanking him forward, then turning them both and shoving Jin towards the table. Jin winces as his back hits the edge of the drafting table.

“Damnit Akanishi, I am at my fucking limit with you,” Kame snarls into Jin’s face, that he had pulled forward all too close to his own. There is silence for a couple seconds, except for Kame’s heavy breaths, as Jin is holding back his own.

“I’m at my own limit too,” Jin whispers lowly.

“Wha--” But Kame’s question is abruptly cut off by Jin swooping in and smothering him in a desperate kiss.

“Ughn--Aka--” Kame tries to remove his mouth from Jin’s, “--sto--mff,” Jin shoves his tongue in, “--the hell--mm.”

Kame bites down on Jin’s bottom lip. Hard. But a pleased moan was definitely not the reaction he was expecting. Nor Jin grabbing Kame by his belt, pulling him forward to grab his waist and pull Kame down over him as he falls back on the drafting table.

“What the fuck do you think you’re doing?!” Kame demands, thoroughly pissed off. He squirms to try and get away from Jin who is hurriedly unbuttoning his shirt. Jin tightens his legs around Kame’s sides.

Kame shoves his arm against Jin’s chest, but a moan escapes him when Jin leans up and bites his neck, before sucking on the reddening spot.

When Jin pulls back, he is smirking up at Kame, his eyes twinkling mischievously. Kame’s shirt hangs completely open, and Jin is running teasing circles over Kame’s sides and stomach.

“Maybe I should make you angry more often,” Jin says, still with a grin on his face, “It makes you pay attention to me more, in a much more passionate way.”

Kame gives him a look that says he is not impressed.

“But ignoring you is so much easier,” Kame says.

“But I want this,” Jin undulates his hips upwards, off the table, so that his lower half teasingly brushes Kame’s. And he gets the reaction he wants; a hiss escapes Kame. Jin smirks and adds, “You want this.”

Kame pauses, is silent. He’s kneeling above Jin, looking down at his coworker who is giving him that taunting smile, body spread over the papers, hair mussed and strands laying in every direction. His shirt is ruffled, his tie askew, and Kame can only feel the heaviness between his legs increasing.

Kame’s mind tells him that he shouldn’t. He shouldn’t even if Jin is offering himself to him. Even if he’s hard beneath his pants and Jin is willing to relieve him of it.

But Kame has skipped out on lunch for work anyways. Why not now? They have an hour anyways.

Jin groans, throwing his head back, fisting his hands and grabbing hold on the papers that crinkle loudly in his hold. He never thought this would be happening. He never imagined, had only dreamed about Kame doing this to him, of himself sprawled across the drafting table, his shirt hanging at his elbows, pants on the floor, and Kame between his legs.

Panting breathlessly, Jin peers down his own body to Kame, who is standing at the edge of the table, between Jin’s dangling legs, easing his mouth over Jin’s fully hard length. Kame meets Jin’s face with that piercing look, remaining evidence of his anger still glistening in his dark eyes.

Kame continues to suck Jin off, the older man barely aware of him drawing swirls across his stomach with his index finger, over his trembling thighs, and Jin only notices when Kame sinks it inside him, preparing him, and making him cry out.

Jin winces, forcing himself to hold back any pained sounds and relax against Kame’s intruding finger, and then a second.

“Twenty minutes,” Kame states aloud. Jin strains his neck up to see Kame reading his watch, even as he continues fingering him.

“Oh god, d-do it already,” Jin pants out.

Then Kame is undressing, then remounting the table again, hovering above Jin. Their breaths mingle before they seal their lips together again. Jin eagerly spreads his legs wider, bracing himself for what is to come. He nonetheless screams when Kame enters him.

Kame barely waits for Jin to adjust, proceeding to thrust quickly into him, letting all his stress and frustrations pour out of his body. Eventually, Jin’s hitched breaths and whimpers become loud moans that match Kame’s own.

“Harder. Harder,” Jin pleads, reaching up to grab Kame’s hips and pull himself up with every downward thrust. Their kiss breaks as this causes Kame to growl at the deeper penetration, then grab one of Jin’s legs, and leaning over, bends it over his shoulder to slide even further into Jin.

Jin yelps out at this, and then his body is thrashing upon the table, the blueprints rustling, and Kame is soon groaning and arching above him as Jin tightens around him. Kame squeezes his eyes shut, forces himself to give a few final thrusts when his release crashes over him before they crumple down atop the papers, exhausted.

“Eight minutes...” Kame mumbles against Jin’s chest, not keen on standing up.

“Kame, let’s move in together.”

“...Do you usually ask people you just slept with to live with you?”

“No. Just you,” Jin says in a singsong, teasing voice.

Kame does not respond, but fights back a small smile at his baka officemate.

“We could start our own business. We could be AAA!”

Kame frowns, asking aloud, “AAA?”

“Akakame Architects Association! See it’s our names put together!” Jin proclaims, making Kame snort. “We could even build our dream house together!”

Kame sighs and shakes his head. A dream house with Jin would be one with four walls and a roof, simple as that.

“....So. Um. Kame?”

“Mmm?”

“What are we going to do about these brown and white stains on the blueprints?”

XD Okay I’m done. That was actually the first time I've ever taken part in a fic comment thread type of thing. :3
