The Tar Pit Is Creeping
It's been a long time since Ive posted anything here. The new aggressive advertising pissed me off, I couldn't click on anything with out some popup that even when closed would continue to annoy me with sound. Im in one class this semseter, Advanced Poetry. I love the reading material and this coming monday my poems will be the subject of discussion. Im interested to see how that goes and have already sent them out. I just got my car out of the shop today, all because of that poorly constructed PARKING LOT! It feels good to have the wheel back in my hands. I feel extra protective of my car now because its been through so much. I have many car trouble stories, but then again I can't complain because my car is so nice. I love it but sometimes its frustrating. I found out there is a lightrail station nearby the car shop so I took that instead of a taxi as I did last time! It was a fairly long walk, especially when I forgot my electronic apartment card key on my keychain and had to travel all the way back, lightrail and trudging through snow in the morning on little sleep. One portion of the walk consists of walking along an overpass on what seems like a narrow sidewalk, and I imagined the oncoming traffic slipping on the snow or black ice and smearing me across the sidewall. The trips were tedious but I brought my backpack, a book for class and a book for pleasure and my team jacob water bottle with filtered water ;-).
