I told myself at that this four day weekend would be productive, in a way it was, but I could have done way more. Thursday I went to a club, I had to use crappy yellow chemical glowsticks, nothing like the bright neon the store clerk had described. The night was good though, I was dancing on the stage and this awesome remix of paparazzi came on and the photographer was taking picture of me and people were cheering me on. Friday I hung out with Dom and went to 16th and ended up playing video games the rest of the day. On saturday I went to the Taste of Denver festival with Dom. It was pretty neat but really expensive. I ended up getting a crappy smoothie and some steak that I couldn't finish because it was too rich. Afterwards we got some beer and met up with Devon and hung out at my place. Devon left and then we went to Wendys. I know I shouldn't have spent more money after the festival but I couldn't resist Wendy's salty perfection. Afterwards we tried to go swimming but the pool was too cold so we ended up watching a movie before he left. I intended on taking a nap and waking up at midnight but my alarm didn't go off and I woke up at four in the morning.
Sunday I waited anxiously all day for America's Best Dance crew and watched tv and played video games all night. Today I read in the morning, finally on page 471! not even halfway yet! haha I worked out some and have been playing video games since four today. I'm taking a break and making some breakfast-dinner. At least I already have my poem done for tomorrow. I'll probably resume playing video games once my eyes don't feel so strained haha. These fruit flies that flew out of my trash one day have now become annoying, but if there is one thing I learned how to do well in Texas it's kill bugs. I wanted to buy a butterwort so it could do all the work for me but again, no money.
I think it was during a nap, but one of the images I remember was a red four leaf clover. It was an image that stuck out in my mind as strongly as the elevators in a dream past. I'm still working on what I can take from the red four leaf clover; it's stewing in my mind.
