artsy fartsy me
today i found my old portfolios that had art that i've made from 1989 (preschool) all the way to 2003 (freshman year of collage)....
wow.
i totally forget that i've always been into art (and craft) as much as i am. every couple of years i get obsessed with some "new" art/craft form (real examples: jewelry making, knitting, film photography) and it feels like i've totally discovered something new when really i've already done it/been interested in it before and i've just forgotten about it!
and omg.
i've found 5 rolls of undeveloped film from middle school that i want to get developed. see! i've even been into film photography years before now but my more recent obsession with film photography still feels completely new lol.
oh, and i found my first ever 3 cameras... a yellow and black point & shoot film camera (an Ansco Hotpix 110), a black point & shoot film camera (a Kodak KB10)and a ONE MEGAPIXEL Kodak DC265 from 1999/2000....!
...didn't even realize i owned a digital camera back then. D:
i'm going to insert a photo of these old cameras here tomorrow morning just for my own photographic records. :3 I WILL NEVER THROW THESE CAMERAS AWAY-- omg, my photog history. <3

edit #2: ...i just took the memory card out of the old digital camera and looked at the photos that are still on it....
....no wonder i don't remember this camera-- it was actually my sisters! but for some reason it was in my room with my stuff. so now the question is... why did she get a digital camera before me??? >:[ hmph
