i got an email from Daiso saying that orientation will be on the 28th... they said this during the interview, but i had completely forgotten because i had been focused on a million other things. the store will open the following week after easter i believe? they've express mailed stuff to me to fill out and send back that may have more info.
i'm excited but also bummed that things wont be starting sooner. i really hope they cover a ton of stuff during the orientation if that's pretty much all there will be before the store opens and the chaos ensues...! also, i have bills that need to be paid by the end of the month and i'm broke, so money from Daiso would have helped a lot. oh well.
i just realized the other day that once the job at Daiso starts i'll have 4 jobs... D:
volunteer photography @the RSPCA - 1 day/week
web content editor-thingie via my own business - 4 hrs/week
private Esperanto teacher via my own business - 1.5 hrs/week teaching but +1 day/week prep time
retail assistant @Daiso - 3 ~ 30(?) hrs/week
why can't i just get one solid-paying decent job like everyone else....??? it really sucks doing so many things at once.... and on top of this, i'm also managing a Meetup group and being asked regularly to do favors for people.
UGH!
people always asking/begging me to do X, Y, Z always annoys me the most.... partially because it's always the same people asking, partially because i feel like they're taking advantage of how much i care because they come to me expecting me to not turn them down. ;(
"I'M FRIGGIN BUSY, YOU KNOW....! unless you're going to offer me money to do it, which i know you aren't, then i'm sorry but the answer is no. i've had my fill of volunteer work while counting pennies due to lack of an income, thank you very much!" ............is what i so desperately want to say to these people.
obviously i can't, so i better start thinking up some other excuse..... *stares at the "Reply" button to such an email*
