we can has xmas tree!
it's finally starting to feel like xmas! we put up our first xmas tree together today. :] xmas is a special time for us (*cough*tomeanyway*cough*) because we met for the first time irl around xmas. this will be the 3rd xmas we've spent together, but only our 2nd as a couple. last xmas we spent in Vegas with my family. :] and to add to that, this will be Fae's first xmas with us. :P speaking of Fae, she tried to eat our tree. :( but eventually she stopped, thank god. now she seems to not be interested in it at all.
xmas aside, my new job has been going ok so far. working from home is definitely different from what i'm use to. i get to set my own times and dates for everything. even what i do is up to me to an extent. i'm really glad that i'm good at giving myself a schedule and pacing myself or else this job would probably be harder than a "normal" job.
*yawns* ....anyway, things are going well. I've cut back on going to the RSPCA from 2 days to 1 day a week so I can focus on my paying job. Fae is settling in nicely. we finally successfully blocked off our balcony so she doesn't have any more surprise encounters with the neighbor's cat. she's still kinda weary from that... but i think she's relaxing more day by day.
and now i'm too hungry and tired to keep typing. i hope David gets home soon so i can make dinner and eat. ;(
