30 Day Meme: JAPAN
DAY 02 - Describe your neighborhood in Japan.
my little 4 story apartment building was part of a relatively quiet neighborhood next to a busy road about 3km from the center of the city. the location was awesome with everything you could hope for within walking distance! right next to the apartment building was a Hokka Hokka Tei (fast food bento shop) and on the other side less than 5 mins away was a conbini (convenience store), Cocos (a family restaurant) and the best Italian restaurant in town. there were also 2 grocery stores a Daiso ($1 store) and drug store 10mins~ away! the neighborhood itself consisted of relatively new homes and a couple "high-rise" (by Kochi standards) apartment buildings backed by a large river and with frequent buses and trams a walk away. :]

no single movie comes to mind as my NUMBER ONE all time favorite... i guess if i could use vague cagetories...
childhood favs: The Dark Crystal, Labyrinth, Hook
historical drama: The Long Walk Home, Remember The Titans
anime: Paprika
action: The Dark Knight, Spiderman (the trilogy)
fantasy/drama: Edward Scissorhands, What Dreams May Come, The Truman Show....
