time goes by
exactly a month from now i will be in Tokyo, having left Kochi behind possibly for forever.
i've already been having a lot of "lasts" at work: last time going to X, Y schools, last classes with H students etc... i think that it's finally started to really sink in that i'm leaving, although there's still a ways to go before i start freaking out about it. even though i have 11 boxes and a bike taking up much of my apartment, it still seems like leaving this apartment is still a while away...
i only have 2 more weeks (4 more days each) at both of my base schools after this week. gotta start cleaning out my desks... this time it's not to move my stuff to a new base school, which i'm so use to doing. that's probably why it doesn't feel unusual at all.
monday i found out who my successor (the person replacing me) is and contacted her. she seems like a nice person, so atleast i know that everything i'm leaving behind will continue going on fine without me.
....which for some reason isn't exactly a "comforting" thought.
