i really suck at updating livejournal lately... but there really hasn't been much to update about aside from bitching about the weather, being broke and such.
this morning i got confirmation of some bad news that i knew was coming. starting in April i will no longer be teaching at Namegawa ES/JHS. :'( it really sucks because Namegawa is my "happy school". it's the one school that i look forward to going to that helps me get through the rest of the week. it's the best base school that i have had so far, and now it's being taken away after only a year of being there... :'( just makes me that much glader that i didn't recontract, really... i have yet to find out what school will be replacing Namegawa. i'll probably find out before i leave the office today or tomorrow, but whatever school it turns out to be wont even compare to Namegawa eitherway. :( i just hope it wont be one of the "rougher" schools...
since i'm updating, i might as well bitch about the weather while i'm at it lol. lately mother nature has been expressing herself not only through numerous big earthquakes and a tsunami around the world but also through the weather. one week it feels like spring is here-- flowers are blooming, birds are singing, mosquitoes are biting and all is merry and well. the next week, however, feels like it's once again the middle of winter-- snow is falling, wind is howling, colds are spreading and kotatsu get pulled out of closets yet again. what's up with that? i'm sorry we humans have fucked you up a lot, mother nature, but please let winter gtfo.
counting down to my trips to Okinawa and Australia is what keeps me going these days, but now it's also a countdown till my last visit to Namegawa. :'( of course there always has to be something bad...
ah, and i just remembered something worth updating about, but i guess i'll save that for later zZzZz....
edit: going back to Ikku! i'm a mixture of happy and eh.
