hello america etc

after over 15 hours of traveling, we've finally made it to our hotel in Vegas (which is a very nice studio with a little kitchen and lots of amenities :D). we're exhausted as fuck and glad to be laying in a nice BED (fuck you futons!!). as it's his first time in America, observing figgybee's reactions and comments on things has been amuzing already and of course i'm dealing with my own wtf-english-is-everywhere-omg-america-VEGAS=NO-JAPANESE?!?! etc stuff at the same time. i've had embarrassing adventures in english-only-ness already. D; i've also had to drive a car already, which is something that i really hate doing. :'( but oh well, getting around Vegas sucks without one and the car has already been rented. even i had to try hard to remember which side of the road to drive on when i was in a mostly empty, large parking lot... although i guess it wouldnt have really mattered which side i drived on then? D;

anyway, yeah. lots of zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz for the next several hours.
