Why don't you just call the names of those students that might know the answer? Sorry, just asking, I have no clue how "normal" public school classes work in Japan ^^;
Wow, that sounds like you got yourself a nice laptop :) I wonder what I could do if mine died. I'd need a German keyboard which is probably not available in Japan at all (x_X) .... and importing is too expensive *nods*
Good luck with 1kyuu btw. When are you taking it? :)
i don`t know the students` names. ^^; eventually the JTE ended up calling on people and making them answer, that shouldn`t even be necessary which is why it`s so frustrating. :/
i`m use to Japanese computers so the Japanese keyboard isnt a problem for me anymore. in fact, going back to an English keyboard might be a bit of a problem at first lol.
aiming for July 2010, but eh... ^^;; prob wont pass then.
I have the same problem in way smaller classes (2-12 people). They are too quiet at times. The older they are the more quiet. At least I can call on them :) I hate big classes. Just today I heard that one REALLY nice girl was bullied in her school (elementary 6th grade) and can't go to school every day anymore. I just don't get it, what's wrong with Japanese schools? And she's so nice, too!!!! *sigh* :/
It's not that I'm not used to Japanese keyboards, I use them at work anyway, but that I'd need a German keyboard for some German letters that are not on an English nor a Japanese keyboar (e.g. Ää, Üü, Öö and ß)
I wish you good luck, though :) Maybe that's the time when I'll try 2kyuu ^^;
if you set IME to german, wont you be able to type those characters without a german keyboard? That's how anyone outside of germany would type german i would imagine. I understand if it would be confusing at first, though.
And about Silver Week. I will have Thursday and Friday off next week, but since yesterday they're doing some kind of construction work here at the house so it's been loud like hell the whole time. I won't be able to study at all *sigh* -__-
You think so? I've never tried IME with German, so I don't know, but maybe that's alright then :D
that sucks. :/ i can't ever get studying done at home anyway, too many distractions. :(
and yeah, german IME should work fine, the keyboard layout might just take getting use to. :) you can always try out the german IME beforehand by installing it on a computer if you ever consider getting a laptop here.
