laziness 24/7 365
the weekend went by so fast... one day it`s friday afternoon and i`m excited about the weekend, the next it`s sunday and i`m already dreading monday. where the hell does my time go? i sure as hell didnt spend it doing much of anything. >_>;
so... due to testing and god knows what other reasons, i haven`t gone to Kera JHS the past week and i wont be going there for the next two weeks. this means that instead of visiting Kera twice a week, i`ve been going/will be going to random E.S. twice a week. last week was Kerashomidai & Shinbori, today was Ushioeminami and thursday will be... Kera ES i think?
today at Ushioeminami i had three classes with 1st years, the subject being.... "easy games in English". >_>;; on the lesson request sheet that i was given, hardly anything had been checked off under English topics that they had already learned, so i really didn`t have much of anything to go on in terms of figuring out what games they could or couldn`t do... in the end, my lesson plan consisted of my self intro + singing/dancing the "7 steps" song (makes a good warmup and gets them to review numbers) + fruits basket (w/ colors) + 4 corners (w/ colors). it went well.... kept the genki-ass kids using up their energy, which is always good. thankfully i had coffee in between the 1st and 2nd class. ^^; the first class was uncontrollably, annoyingly genki but thankfully the last two were very manageably genki.
ah, atleast it didn`t rain on me biking there today... too much.
on the way home, i took the liberty of extending my lunch break to go to an awesome used game store near the school aaannndd.... after much debating with myself, i`ve decided to get a PS2! i`m holding off on buying the system because i`m at the limit of my spending budget, so i`m getting it after payday which is the monday after next. i`ve already bought some games, however, since i found several of my FAVS at the used game store and i HAD to buy them. :`x i`m so excited. D; i got:
- Katamari Damancy (HELL YES!)
- Final Fantasy IX (HELL YES! I LOVE THIS GAME D;)
- Dance Dance Revolution 2nd Remix Append Club Version Vol. 2 (!! it was fkin 399yen lololol)
- Dance Dance Revolution 3rd MIX (:DDD)
- Dance Dance Revolution mat controller (OF COURSE)
and i got it all for 7,300yen (about 70USD)! w00t! 8) i sooooooooo cant wait to buy the actual system for the games `cause i love & miss all these games so much. D; *dances in anticipation*
in other news... while i was typing this, my supervisor came and told me some bittersweet(?? its certainly a bit bitter, not sure about the "sweet" part) news. ^^; looks like one of my JHS will be changing come April... Otsu, to be specific. i was already preparing to lose Otsu JHS (thus part of the reason i ordered a yearbook), but i thought i`d be losing it in August, not this soon... ^^; the school replacing it will be Namegawa JHS, a small JHS in the mountains outside the actual city? mitsukaiten, anything and everything you can tell me about the school will be much appreciated. D; apparently my half day will be changing as well, since currently my half day is friday but i will be going to Namegawa on fridays starting in April. :[ starting in April, my half day will be on wednesdays.... i`m really really sad about this... a lot sadder than i am about losing Otsu lol. having a half day on fridays was so awesome.... it was the best possible half day to have. now my half day will be in the middle of the week. *sigh x1000* atleast my new school shouldnt be that bad, i guess...
