laziness, as always
urgh, i`ve been so lazy with lj lately... >_>; its not like i havent had anything to update with, i just havent been able to bother myself with logging in and typing it out. ^^;
let`s see.... the weather has been really up and down lately... like last weekend, it really really felt like spring-- it was so awesome. but after that, it went back to being cold again. it got a bit warmer on friday, but now it`s back to being cold again. :`[ i wish mother nature would stop jerking my heart around and let it be spring already.
this week i ordered a yearbook at Otsu...! first let me say that i was not OFFERED the chance to order a yearbook, a JTE just casually mentioned the yearbook in passing and i was like "yearbook?? what yearbook???" i didnt even know that yearbooks existed in japanese jhs! its not like anyone tells the ALT these things, after all, because its not like the ALT would care. >_>;; once the JTE mentioned it, though, i repeatedly poked her until i was handed an envelope with the yearbook fee written on it. 7,500yen. :`x pretty expensive... but... i`m pretty sure that this year will be my last year at Otsu and i have been here for a year and a half, longer than i`ve been at any other school here. as such, i`ve gotten to know the students and teachers at this school better than at any other and i`d really like a keepsake of the time to remember the people i`ve taught and worked with all this time. :] sure, i have photos i`ve taken and photos i still could take, but i could never get a photo + the name of every student and teacher in the school on my own. it`ll be cool to be able to look at the yearbook years from now and be like "lulz, this kid was such an ass, but this girl was cool, etc :)." and i`m sure the yearbook will probably have photos from school events and stuff too. :] i`m really happy i ordered one.
other than that, i guess i dont have much to say. >.>; ah, i have caved and signed up for Twitter... i will NOT be putting my tweets on lj. anyone who would like to check out my Twitter, feel free too. the account is nighstar, of course. ;) i will be using it for random language practice in general and for boredom-induced stupidity while at work. ^^;
