damn you practice tests
early this morning there was an awesome lightning and thunder storm, i think it was the most badass storm i`ve experienced yet in kochi. D; the thunder was often so loud that it shook the apartment building waking me up and it even knocked out the power a couple of times. D; the lightning was so visible out my window that i could even sometimes see it from my futon despite my glasses being off (i = nearly blind w/o glasses). :3 i couldnt help but find the storm fkin cool. D; it also rained lots but thankfully it stopped just in time for me to go catch my bus at 11am-ish.
the bus ride to matsuyama was sooooooooooooo scenic, omg. D; shikoku has to be the must beautiful part of Japan nature wise, i swear. i wish i could have captured the breathe taking landscape/mountainscape in photos... *sigh* but anyway, the point of this blurb of a paragraph is that i successfully made it to matsuyama and the ride here was very enjoyable. matsuyama seems like a really nice city so far, not that i`ve seen much of it... whaaa, i wish i weren`t dirt broke. -_-; but anyway, the hotel i`m at is awesome. its the nicest/classiest hotel i`ve been to yet in Japan (Keio aside) and yet it`s also the cheapest yet! the room is really nice and has made for a nice studying environment, so i`m happy i came early and booked this hotel.
but anyway, i did another mock test today... this time i used the actual test that was given last year. the results... man, i swear practice tests are cruel. they play with your heart. ;-; i don`t know how i got the scores i did this time, compared to last time...
mock test #3 (2007) scores:
writing/vocab: 74/100
listening: 78/100
reading/grammar: 169/200

total: 321/400 or 80%
whaaaaaaa why is my score jumping all over the place gaaahhhh. it really must be true.... how hard the test will be is a matter of luck. y_y i wonder what this year`s test will be like.... and omg i swear that one of the readings on the 2007 test is exactly like one of the readings in UNICOM`s 実力アップ２級読解 book or something... o_o; i was like "whoah, i`ve read this before..." does JEES recycle it`s questions sometimes...? hmmm....
bah. but anyway, i`m trying to not let this test`s scores trick me into feeling like i have a decent chance at passing because i know now more than ever that practice test scores really don`t mean much of anything. >_<; i still need to study my ass off tomorrow...
bah... a really interesting movie is on, but i should go to bed now... btw, thanks everyone for your encouragement. :)
