random "yay" things as of lately in bullet point form as i dont feel like making a streamlined entry:
- got to make delicious pumpkin soup on friday like i had been hoping to, but even better is that i got to make it with watercircle and she made an awesome meal to go with it. ^_^
- instead of going to see the cosmos festival in Otsuki as we had intended to yesterday, we did a random roadtrip around southwestern Kochi prefecture. saw lots of beautiful, picturesque scenery like rocky beaches and the Shimanto river... i didn`t bring my camera, but watercircle shared hers so hopefully you`ll get to see pictures eventually. :p i saw more of Kochi pref. than i ever had. twaz very nice and traveling with the wonderful watercircle was awesome. ;)
- i semi-compulsively bought a little kotatsu yesterday! it`s 60x60cm, the smallest type available, which is perfect for my tiny apartment. ^-^ last year was so miserably cold... i froze outdoors AND inside my own apartment! THAT WILL NOT HAPPEN THIS YEAR! and hopefully my power bill will be better too! huge "YAY".
- it`s almost winter, which makes this somewhat pointless now, but thanks to info from my japanese tutor i finally found out a foolproof way to stop mosquitoes from biting me in my apartment-- especially while i`m sleeping. i now have an electronic mosquito repellent thingie! no more using cough-inducing, stinky mosquito coils or putting on repellent every night before bed-- YAY! is something available like this in america? america needs this thing!
although friday night and yesterday were awesome, i woke up this morning in a rather depressed mood. i rarely ever remember dreams even immediately after waking, but today i did which resulted in me not wanting to get out of my futon for a while.
i`m seriously considering making this lj 'officially' semi-friends only as there are times when i feel i should start rambling into lj more but i dont feel comfortable allowing any and everyone access to such things. however, at the same time i`d like to keep my lj-less parents informed on some things and there are some things (ie. many things) that i dont care who reads.
we`ll see.
