back from Tokyo~. got back early this morning,did some essential laundry (and had to hang it in my bathroom because it started raining >:[), then passed out for a few hours as i didn`t get much sleep on the overnight bus. now i`ve just finished doing my hair, which took over 3 hours to do. my arms are so tired. *_*;;

but anyway, Tokyo was great. the concert was great too. the concert was actually more like a cross between a broadway musical (which i`ve actually seen 2 of!) and a concert and it was really good. :3 if you`ve seen any of SH's concert videos on youtube (which you probably haven`t, but oh well) it was like that. :x everyone was in costumes, the stage props and special effects were awesome, as were the performances that accompanied all of the story telling/songs. i definitely want the DVD of this concert once it comes out to add to my SH's collection. D; i must have all of Revo/Sound Horizon's albums and DVDs!

Revo is so awesome... ;-; i`m so close to referring to him as Revo-sama. till now only Mana-sama could have -sama on his name, but Revo`s getting so close to godly composer-ness... D; meh, i`ll shut up since no one knows what im talking about anyway.

back to Tokyo, i tried to explore as many of the popular neighborhoods/districts as i could, but ended up not making it to Ginza, Ueno (despite my hotel being there! D;) and i barely touched Shibuya. i kept getting caught up in various stores, so i couldnt really stick to my schedule....

.....god this song is so fkin` awesome, i listened to it all last night on the bus.... *wipes a tear from her eye*

...but all the places i did go were interesting. particularly Asakusa. i went there 3 times. D; i also spontaneously went on a little cruise up the Sumida River, which was really nice. these two things, plus all the awesome sushi i ate (x3!) were probably the highlights of the trip, aside from the concert.

if i can muster up the mind set, time and dedication to make photo-filled, detailed day-by-day entry(/ies) on the trip i`ll try to, but i don`t know if that will happen any time soon if at all. i did take hundreds of photos, but i took them all with my p&s, so who knows how many of them are any good.... D; plus i`m kind of in a meh mood and will be for a while.

we`ll see...

i definitely wanna go back to Tokyo, though.... and Osaka.... damnit, where am i going to find the time and money to repeatedly visit such expensive cities in between exploring the rest of Japan??

....<33333333333333 Revo~ ;-; why does Japan have so many kickass composers???

anyway, thank god today was a holiday, but tomorrow i have to go to an Elementary school that i`ve never been to before. gotta teach 3 classes of 2nd years about food. >.>; i hope that goes well... sunday is Sports day at Otsu. dreaded, but somehow not hated Sports Day. then i`m using paid leave next monday and substitute leave next wednesday to take a 3 day trip to Tokushima/Naruto since next tuesday is a holiday. the next week+ should be pretty interesting.

oh yeah, and a typhoon is headed this way. damn, it just occured to me that that might ruin Sports Day and possibly my trip. gah. the typhoon just hit Taiwan and is due to make landfall south of here on thursday. even though it`s not due to hit south of here until thursday, southern Japan is already getting massive rain and thursday Kochi will prob start to strongly feel the effects of the typhoon.... fuck, i gotta bike to Godaisan Ushioe Higashi E.S. on thursday, god. x-x;

bleh. despite the nice trip to Tokyo and work not being too bad right now, i am rather meh for reasons i would rather not talk about.

music, sound horizon, weather, japan, concert, traveling, tokyo, meh
