*blank stare*

...wednesday, shortly after getting off of work, i`ll be boarding a bus bound for Tokyo.

...thursday i`ll get to attend my first concert ever (lame) by one of the greatest groups ever.

i`m starting to really get excited. :D it never really hits me that i`m about to go on a trip until i`ve started packing and stressing about what i`m going to do wherever i go. i just finished packing most of what`s coming with me and now i`m starting to stress about what i`ll be doing in Tokyo aside from the concert. i have random things that i hope to see while there, but i really havent formulated much of a plan yet. :/ but man, this concert`s going to be so awesome. Sound Horizon is so awesome. i really need to spam you all more with links to their mp3s and video clips.

i had preordered the limited edition first release of their new album and it was delivered the day it was released via Amazon Japan. I LOVE YOU DEARLY AMAZON JAPAN <3. but i haven`t even opened it yet because the box is so nicely done that i don`t want to take the plastic off of it and risk it getting dirty. it`s made out of a woven-patterned cloth with such awesome artwork on it that i`m considering NEVER opening it and just buying a whole `nother copy. D; that`s just horrible. but also don`t want to open the cd because i want the first time i hear the new songs to be at the concert. ;x

but anyway. Tokyo. i`ll be going there with a fraction of the money that i would oh so love to spend there, so this trip will be rather sad. my goal is to frequent mostly free places, some museums (and maybe a zoo) and find cheap but good eateries. i like window shopping, but i`m afraid i`ll see things in Tokyo that i just wont want to leave behind. D; the main goal in terms of shopping is to NOT shop except for books that i need for prepping myself for the JLPT in December. *shutters*

but on a completely unrelated note:

20th CENTURY BOYS is so fuckin' epic, omfg. everyone not reading it, you have my unwanted sympathy. you`re missing out on one of the best manga/stories ever written. i swear i`m buying all 20-somthing volumes of this manga and bringing them back with me to America. they will be an irreplaceable part of my collection of things Japanese.

urgh, gotta go to Kera tomorrow.

concert, manga, traveling, sound horizon, tokyo
