ただいま～
just got back from Osaka.....
KOCHI!!! <3333333!
no, Osaka was awesome. just awesome. and interesting and awesome. but it still feels nice to be back in Kochi and in my apartment. Kochi may be small and lacking *cough*seriouslylacking*cough* but i love Kochi. Kochi = home. <333
but anyway. Osaka. awesome. i didnt take a ton of pictures but i took some. my new camera has proven itself to be very very convenient! it fits into my pocket even when in its case and i can do everything one-handedly (provided i dont want a perfectly composed shot of course). soooo convenient. i read reviews on my camera where the reviewers stated that they hated the sliding lens cover (which doubles as an on/off mechanism). well screw them, they obviously didn`t use a case or take it on a trip. it`s sooo convenient. D; plus since my laptop is also by the same brand (a Sony VAIO) i can take out the camera`s memory card and insert it directly into the laptop to view my photos. no lugging around a USB cord or even installing the camera`s drivers are necessary. awesome. BUT, despite all this convenience, it`s time to see if the camera really is awesome through scrutinizing its photos, which i will post tomorrow.
i`ve only been to one other metropolis in Japan so far besides Osaka and that other metropolis was Fukuoka. i got a really different vibe from Osaka compared to Fukuoka. they`re two very different cities, i was kind of (stupidly?) surprised. but then again, i think i saw sides of Osaka that i havent seen of Fukuoka lololol. D; i cant really say which city i like better... but Osaka wins the FTW Award for now and thus i will be making random weekend trips to Osaka in the future! Osaka is just too awesome and convenient. plus i found some awesome shops that i want to frequent and a local band that i might want to support. D;
anyway, on a completely unrelated note, this book that i`m reading (and have been reading for a while because it`s thick and i never get much time to read it) is getting soooo interesting again. D; i wanna stay up all night reading it, but no. i need to get up at a decent time tomorrow and get a bunch of stuff done. i would be screwed if i hadn`t gotten lucky with my daikyuu (substitute holiday). >_>; ONLY TWO DAYS OF WORK THIS WEEK LOLOL AWESOME.
