Viral phone video, ATR in London and PS3's other OS

Here's some quite well done viral videos to advertise the Motorola Droid phone. They're still and completely untrue, but fun to watch on if you're having a slow Friday afternoon.

And here's one behind a cut if you can't be arsed to follow that link.

There's a couple more behind the link.

Also something of note to ATR fans is that a reunion gig is planned in London for May. However, it's worth noting a posting made on Hanin Elias' facebook page suggests that she doesn't know if she's involved yet. For me it wouldn't be ATR without her.

Also, if you're geeky enough to follow tech news you'll already know that Sony have released an update to their PS3's that will remove the 'Other OS' feature. This was a feature of the Original PS3s that let you run Linux on them if you wanted. Sony have decided to remove this, but some users are pretty pissed because a feature they use is disappearing from the consoles they own (i.e. this isn't just for new consoles, old ones that update their software will lose this feature).

Well, it seems a user has managed to claim a refund of £84 from Amazon due to his product being degraded to a feature set less than it was at point of sale. It's also worth noting a hacker has claimed he's found a way to re-enable this feature, but he's not released this yet as he's still testing it.
