State of the onion
There is very little to report. We are now under full ownership of the new firm at work- they unambiguously don't listen to anything we have to say, they have changed my entire work day. We are less productive now so a wonderful retrograde step there. They are trying to tie me to my desk like a ball and chain- but I'm not a single-task person. Neither is the rest of the department.
They came in to "train" us on the new phone system. This was filled with a lot of "Oh, but.. oh, why do you do this? Oh, you DO this? Oh. Well, that's the way it's going to be now".
Our way or the highway. Lovely. My boss has already quit because of this attitude.
The car is nearly ready for the road. Fixed the hesitation problem- a poor connection was at fault. The brakes are the last thing to do.
