Update
Well, it isn't a stroke. Mum's blood sugar was very low and she was very short on sleep because of her back pain, both of which can certainly cause mental confusion. They want to send her to rehab to get her back on her feet, because of her back I guess. I don't know whether to go up or not. Her sister says not. But I really want to do something to help.
My original plans were
1) Beach trip Wed.
2) Baby Shower Sat.
3) Bar Mitzvah in MD the following Saturday
I think the first thing I do is to let her sleep. Then I call the hospital and talk to my mother directly and find out what she wants.
I'm still short on sleep and therefore confused.
