It's Prompting Time Again!

Hello, all! I haven't updated in a while because my life during the summer is apparently quite dull, but I do have a few updates.

First of all, I've been plagued with writer's block lately (or at least a lack of plot bunnies), and I'd really like to start writing again. Especially since I have a Big Bang lurking in my future.

So.... prompt me, please, my darling flist! I'll take any prompts that have to do with the DCU (especially Batfam, Trinity, and Justice League), the Dresden Files, or even Marvel's Young Avengers. Other fandoms - like Supernatural or Temeraire - are possible, as well, so just ask! I'd really appreciate it, guys. Thanks! :D

Also, I finished Ghost Story a couple of days ago and I must say, I am pretty damn pleased. Here are my thoughts:

1. HARRY DRESDEN, I MISSED YOOOOU.

2. Daniel Carpenter, you are adorable and my hero and your daddy would be so proud of you. ♥

3. Butters and Bob together make me incredibly happy, and I loved seeing Bob's swanky skull-apartment. So much class.

4. Evil Nazi Bob was amazing, and automatically made me think of Red Skull, which made it even better.

5. MISTERRRRRR. I'M SO GLAD YOU'RE OKAY AND LIVING WITH MURPHY AND A CAT SO YOU CAN SEE HARRY AND RUB AGAINST HIS LEGS LIKE A FUZZY BATTERING RAM.

6. I wanted more Marcone. And more Childs. And more Mouse. And more Uriel. And more Thomas. In fact, I was so upset about the utter lack of Thomas that I would have been super pissed with the book if there hadn't been an explanation for his absence at the end. Still. There should always be more Thomas. And more Marcone. Oh, Johnny boy, why did you have to be in Italy...?

7. That scene near the end with Maggie and Mouse made me cry. I blame Mouse for being absolutely adorable.

8. THE ENDING. I AM SURPRISINGLY SO, SO GOOD WITH THE ENDING. And now I want it to be next year, like, now. Please.

Also I finally read The Left hand of Darkness by Ursula K. Le Guin and it was incredible. So thought-provoking and hauntingly beautiful. Highly recommended for anyone who wants a fantastic, intelligent sci-fi novel.

Oh, and my apartment is a mess. Not a "hey, there's a pile of clothes on the floor and dishes in the sink" mess. No, no. That would be bearable. This is more of a "those construction workers shed dust and my apartment is now coated with it and my bathroom is completely torn up and nigh unusable" kind of mess. I hate it. It is driving me bonkers.

So... in conclusion, I am living in a mess, I finally have time to read, and I would appreciate some prompts! Thank you, flist. You are lovely. ♥
