Under the Red AWESOME.
I finally watched Under the Red Hood tonight! And the animation was so goooood. I just kept smiling and thinking, God, this is pretty. I can’t wait to get it on DVD. Because I am. Like, now. I will order it now.
And the voices! I loved the voices! Even though Batman was not Kevin Conroy, whose voice - for me, at least - will always be sex Batman. But Dick was Neil Patrick Harris! Which would have been pitch perfect if he had at one point told Bruce to "BATSUIT UP," but was still pretty damn amazing. (And now I want to draw that. OH GOD, BATFANDOM, HOW ARE YOU TAKING OVER MY LIFE.)
And Jason was Jensen Ackles! HOLY CRAP DO NOT GET ME STARTED ON JASON TODD AS JENSEN ACKLES. SO MUCH PERFECT FFFFFF.
In fact, I think this movie may have actually changed how I feel about Jason Todd. He has never been my favorite Robin (and still isn’t - I have a feeling that will always be Dick ♥) and the only thing that intrigued me about him was his wonderfully gory “death,” but now… now he’s a badass with the voice and mannerisms of Dean Winchester and I think I finally understand why some people love him. \o/
Basically every Batman fan should watch this movie. It is epic. EPIC. And it has this animated perfection of our favorite "pretty boy in the leotard":
I'm not kidding. That's an exact quote from the movie. IT'S SO FANTASTIC. DICK I LOVE YOU AND YOUR FLIPS.
Well, I'm off to write more fic and surf the internet and watch Matilda on ABC Family. Woohoo for spring break! :D

[EDIT] Also, finally got to watch Young Justice from last night. SUPERBOY HOW ARE YOU SUCH A NEANDERTHAL YOU ARE RIDICULOUS AND I CANNOT TAKE YOU SERIOUSLY WHEN YOU DO THAT.

Superboy: ..... NYARRRGHH!!! *rips shirt and goes on rampage*
And are they trying to pair off everyone on that show? Yeesh. It's only a matter of time before Robin and Aqualad get together, seriously. Just focus on the missions and the Batman and the show will be fine.
