Upward and Onward to Random Adventure!
I went to visit my good buddy toasters_toast this weekend. I drive down Friday night, grabbed some Mexican food and I promptly fell out of existence on his couch.Zzzzz. The next day we watch the episode of BSG we'd missed the night before and then decided to go on an adventure to Government Camp on Mt Hood. We climbed into my Buick de Hooptie and drove up the mountain. The winds were whipping down like mad and when I got of the car twice I could lean against the wind a little without falling over.

In the spirit if random adventure, I went to Oregon and went to Mt. Hood.2/28/09We finally got to Government Camp and walked around the "town" and visited the Museum/Town Visitor center then walked over to the Govt. Camp Bakery and Deli and has AWE-isnpiring sandviches (OM NOM NOM)..While in the deli we made the decision to drive up as far as we could to the ski resort at the top of the mountain. We drove on and picked up a snowboarder hitchhiker on his way back up the mountain. He was "Like dudes thanks for the lift, I think I like tranked my board." (Good Deed for the day)
We got all the way to top and marched around, saw the Hotel, and froze our ear off (Considering I was dressed in my AWESOME Flannel lined pant it wasn't So bad) If you want to see the view click here (warning BIG File size): http://pics.livejournal.com/niftykoala/pic/00004yce
Random Adventure over we drove back down the mountain and had sushi.
