Mudslinging disgusts me. The same people I listen to talking about the marriage amendment and forgiveness and loving everyone are the ones who are holding against candidates things they did as teenagers. If this were a true democracy, we would know where each candidate stood on issues and vote based on that, not on how many accusations their opponent can sling at them.
It also makes me mad that marriage amendment opponents talk about forgiveness and equality and not stereotyping and then stereotype every evangelical Christian and fundamentalist Christian based on the idiotic comments of a few. I'm sure there are just as many idiot left wingers as there are idiot right wingers. Politics is messed up - it's based on party instead of capability and values.
Nevertheless, I voted. But I want to move to Canada, because Canada didn't even exist to the world until someone figured out that they get drugs cheaper. I will run a B&B with my husband and our spoiled dogs and horses and whatnot, and maybe eventually some drooling toddlers :)
