An update! *le gasp!*
I'm updating at school... I actually lugged my computer here today, to finish my chem labs, as my professor came into class on Friday, after being away since the previous Thursday, stating "I hope you all did your weighings while I was away, 'cause your lab is due Monday!". ARGH. So, if you've been wondering where I've been, I've been in the lab. :)
Um... Cat's almost all better! He got diagnosed with Feline Lower Urinary Tract Disorder two weekends ago. After chasing him around the house with paper towels, and unfortunately keeping him cooped up in his carrier at night for a week and a half, he's finally coming around. We had a bad night two Friday nights ago, when I tried some highly medicated food, and he got sick EVERYWHERE. And he was sick, and peeing everywhere, and I was up till 2AM with him. And I haven't talked about it much, because I don't think I would deal with it well at all if I lost him. Some of you guys remember what I was like when Patches was sick. I'm so not ready to go through that again.
Because I pushed everything else out of the way to look after the cat, this week is more or less catch-up week. And I've asked for the weekend coming off work, so I'm working like mad till Thursday. Urgh. But! On the plus side, we get paid sick days at work, and I've only taken ONE so far. They need to be used up by the end of the year, or I lose them. Therefore, when my boss' neice (Another entry ENTIRELY. AUGH) comes to give us some help for Christmas, I get to take some paid days off!!!
Things with Terry are fantastic. That's why I'm taking this weekend off, 'cause he and I are decorating his apartment for Christmas! It'll also give us a bit of time together before I go insane due to exams. :)
Ok, lab time! Cross your fingers, no fires this time. :)
