I honestly believe that instead of wasting time trying to invent a more ergonomic water bottle, the world should be putting all of its effort into giving me telekinesis. I like to imagine that the people who are making tomatoes perfectly round and kind of tasteless could, instead, be cultivating some kind of magic berry that I could turn into juice

Ease up on my poor Helo. He's had a rough week (actually he's had a rough couple of MONTHS). Protecting CapBoomer in 2.01,a nd more important, believing her story, followed by her apparent betrayal probably has him feeling pretty dumb. Maybe he's decided that being in love with him and being pregnant was a story she told to keep him from killing her, and given that she apparently ran the first chance she got, leaving him and Starbuck marooned on Caprica, doesn't exactly inspire confidence. And I loved the dramatic irony of Helo's speech about how he believes her being juxtaposed with the whine of the engines of her getaway craft.
Besides, every time he mopes about her out loud, Starbuck makes some crack about his toaster girlfriend from the genocidal family. Look at that scene in 2.02 where he was moping up a storm about how he'd fallen in love with her. Boy's got an incentive to mope silently from now, unless he wants to hear more jokes about the in-laws from hell and how dumb he was for trusting CapBoomer and believing her lies. Methinks he's trying to focus on survival and push the rest to the back of his mind because he can't deal with it. I figure CapBoomer will show up again soon, though, and we'll get more conflict.
I wish they were still doing those nth day on Caprica subtitles before the Caprica scenes like they did in Season 1. It was nice to be able to keep track of the passage of time. For example, I thought they had CapBoomer coming down iwth morning sickness way too early, but then I checked out the days on the various episodes, and they had sex the first time on Day 24 while she started getting morning sickness on Day 37. In other words, coming up on approx four weeks pregnant, and therefore not improbable that she'd start showing symptoms. Mind you, I'm still not entirely sure I'm crazy about this story, but I'll see how they play it. If any team can pull it off, Moore & Co. can.
Re: Starbuck and Cheap-Knockoff-Apollo-Stand-In, oh yeah, she'll do him. He may be a substitute, but the girl has needs. I love that BSG is showing a female character who is sexual, and sleeps with whoever she wants, and doesn't get shamed for it. The only person who engages in slut-shaming re: Starbuck's sexual choices is Apollo, who is hardly objective. Nobody else seems to think less of her for engaging in casual sex.
