Application Procedure
1. First, read the Rules for expected behavior in the Role-Play, Message Board and OOC communities.
2. Second, read up on all information posts on niflheim_mods for other notes on NPCs characters and possibilities within the role-play setting.
3. After reading, check to see that the character you want isn't already taken by looking through the Taken Characters List. Also check the Reserves List located on the same post to see that the character you want hasn't been reserved by another player.† Need some inspiration for a character you want to play? Take a look at the Wanted Character List for characters that players want to see in the game!
4. When you have character profile and history details of an unregistered character in mind, you can begin applying.
Questions regarding character applications can be dropped into the thread as comments or directed to the mods on any IM they give.

Pairings: Do you enjoy homosexual, heterosexual pairings(relationships) with your character? Do you enjoy incest (if applicable), etc? What types of relationships are you willing to let your character be in the Game?

Colour and Jewelry: Which one do you prefer to have on your character? A bracelet or a collar? What colour stone do you wish for? Ruby, Emerald or Sapphire?

Abilities/Talents/Powers: Does your character have any special or unique abilities, talents or powers? It could be anything from knowing how to play an instrument to being able to shoot fireballs from the mouth.
Faults/Weaknesses: What are your character’s physical, mental and emotional faults or weaknesses in their personality and in relation to their special talents?
History: Please remember if you are applying for an Original Reality character that his/her history must be very close to canon. Alternate Reality has no bounds on the history save that the gender of the character is the same as the Original Reality. Genderswitched reality is freeform in history except for the fact the gender must be different from the Original and Alternate realities’ versions.

Acceptance Procedures
1. Edit any changes to the application form as requested by the mods.
2. Once approved, post a copy of the application in its entirety to your Journal as an entry. The Journal Post will be used as the primary reference to your character profile and history details and would be linked to from the Taken Characters Post. Do not Friends-lock or set the Journal Post to Private Viewing.
3. Copy and paste the character profile and history details into your character journal profile; it will be used as a secondary reference to your character profile and history details for other players. You may use this as a template for your profile.
