(no subject)
lots of happenings the past few weeks. most importantly:
- graduation was this sunday.. parents, grandparents, grandma and aunt linda came up.. nice weekend out with them, preceded by an amazing last few days/nights with some incredible friends that i will miss very very much.
- lots of people are moving away, but i've decided on BU grad school, so i'm staying put. it was so hard to say no to that scholarship, and i found a way to make it affordable if i don't get the scholarship next year.
- annie and i just got an apartment in the north end! i'm psyched. it's smaller than our place, but charming and affordable and i can't get over how amazing the neighborhood is. i will surely miss brookline (though i'm keeping all of my jobs, so i won't be leaving the town entirely), but now i get to live downtown and the landlord treats his tenants like family and everybody knows your name there and it's just a wonderful, safe feeling.
i think that about covers it. still no summer job, but i'll work on that later. i'll be back in ny late june/ early july.
