(no subject)
ok, so i thought it's about time for an update.
1. happy 20th birthday to sheila!!
& happy 40th birthday to the (second) love of my life, john cusack.
my goal of meeting him while he was still in his thirties has hopelessly failed.
anyway...
today was my last day of summer classes! not sure how my stats final went, but we had a cute little party in my graphic design class where we handed in both papers and both projects, and had some awesome food from trader joes and brazilian chocolate. my grades for both classes are supposed to be posted by friday, so we'll see then how they really went. so far i think i'm in the B or B+ range for both classes. i'm hoping to get higher, but i have no complaints with Bs.
i'm coming home this weekend, and i start my new job a week from today. i'm really excited for it. i'm a teacher's assistant for a class of 3-year-olds in a summer camp. the teacher and her other assistant are really nice, the hours are great, and i'll finally be able to put some money back into my bank account!
my goals for the summer are still:
1. to watch every john cusack movie that i haven't seen. (and probably those i've seen too)
[tara-- we still need to have our movie night!]
2. to watch every episode of friends. from all ten seasons.
i'll be going back to boston at some point (maybe twice) because danny's spending the summer here. but besides that i don't think i have any plans of traveling. just to long beach, which is still awesome.
i think that's it. mets are playing the red sox, so we'll probably watch the game tonight. it's gonna be a lazy night, it's pretty crappy out. but tomorrow danny and i are probably going to eat at brown sugar! so that'll be fun!
alright i think i'm done with my entry. i'm gonna go watch bend it like beckham with crystal. it's so fun that she's living here!! hope everyone is doing well, see you all soon!
