I officially spent $1,150 yesterday.
*dies*
Yeah... um... yeah. But I bought some really cool stuff!
I've wanted a digital SLR camera for forever now (yes, forever), and I finally went ahead and bought one. The camera alone was $800, which really isn't that bad. I think I've started a camera collection since I have god knows how many tucked away in different places. While I was browsing other random stuff, I just happened to remember that my lovely boyfriend: (a) doesn't have a digital camera (or rather, no camera at all)n and (b) his birthday is coming up October 2nd, oh yeah and (c) I haven't bought him anything yet. So I went ahead and bought him a digital camera (not too expensive, only $150). I also got him a memory card and yada yada. I told him how much I spent and I think he about had a heart-attack. He doesn't like to spend money... at all. He doesn't know I bought him a camera yet. Hopefully he'll be surprised and like it?
I think for the rest of his birthday I have to bake a cake (yucki carrot cake since it's his favorite), and then cook dinner. I'm thinking rotisserie chicken for dinner or the infamous Niff's Baked Ziti. Yes, it's infamous.
In other news, I have to be to work at 2pm now instead of 5. Chick at work, Kristin, is el-prego and called out sick. Let it be known, I think she's blowing things WAY the heck out of proportion. When I was pregnant, sure, it was a little uncomfortable but luckily I was sick at night and not during the day. I would have made up an excuse not to come in early if I knew Wendy wouldn't be there. Wendy's the wonderful General Manager who is beyond awesome. I heart Wendy. It should also probably be mentioned that I don't think Kristin is "mother" material. I don't see her being a caring mother, and I sure as hell don't see her and her boyfriend supporting the baby monetarialy. Stupid people. She'll just get welfare, food stamps, WIC, and medicare. All because she can't keep her legs closed and her boyfriend can't pull out. Geeze.
On to something less bitter... I'm going to Boone again next month! I'm super excited since I haven't been since January. Sam's taking a train down from Maryland and then we're driving the four hours to Pure Blissful Mountain Hideaway. I like that name better than just Boone. Needless to say, this trip will be awesome if I have to make it awesome. There's only one thing I'm worried about: running into Van or one of Van's lackies. Those chances are slim since he should have moved back to Charlotte to teach anyway. Sometimes you never know though. Eesh. If I did see him, I'd like to spit in his face like that girl did on the last season of Flavor of Love. That'd be classic.
Speaking of Flavor of Love, this season is beyond hilarious. God I heart stupid bitches. lol
Enough for now... more later.
