Let it snow!
Nothing better in the morning then a 2 and a half hour drive to work that usually takes only 45 minutes! The news said leave at least an hour earlier then you normally would well that did not work. Oh well it was all good since everyone was late today. But we are suposed to get another 6 inches or more throughout the day today and tomorrow. At least we will be having a white Yule/Christmas.
After getting into work I found out they need me Sunday Morning to Manage the OT groups from 8-12:30 or 1 ish, problem is my groups Yule party is from 12:30 to 4 ish in Little Canada and I have to be there since I will be singing!! So I will be in formal wear at work while everyone else is casual. *sigh* Oh well, the price you pay to look nice. I am hoping noone signs up since this wont be on a check till after Christmas, then I can get out of having to come in!! I dont even have a desk phone yet let alone the systems I will need to have in order to do my job , but this has been communicated to the higher ups.
Why does it seem that every year when it gets closer to christmas is when you are spending more on your bills and have less to do what you would like to do??? *discuss*
