i wont give up on us .... Chp 5
The next day Abby woke up as usual in the morning at 7 .hugh was still sound asleep beside her .She kept thinking and dreaming about her life . What if she had never met Pierce ? OR What if she had never met Hugh after Pierce left her ? OR What if she had already got married to Hugh and then Pierce came back again ? She kept thinking of various other possibilities and circumstances that could have been .
Maybe deep inside she still loves Pierce , does she ?
Is Hugh merely a rebound ? Or is it nothing to do with Pierce , is it that she is just that Pierce being around reminds her what is it to really be in love ? Does she or does she not love Hugh ?
So many thought came across her mind . She finally decided to get out of the bed and put an end to these train of thoughts and take a nice long shower .
She could never get over Pierce . They were together for 6 1/2 years and were engaged for 2 years out of it .She just can't erase those years out of her life . He always would remain a part of her . When she realized that Pierce had left her , she was crushed . It was so abrupt . She went to the abyss . Nobody in Pierce's family would tell her where he was ,not even his own bother Henry ,who was so close to Abby .
Abby and Hugh ate their breakfast and were putting on their coats . Abby was shaken from her thoughts as he asked her "Honey are you alright ? You seem to aloof and preoccupied now a days ."
"Oh my god Hugh , i am sorry . I don't mean too . My office work has been really pulling me from all the sides . It's been hectic . I am sorry and i am fine ." partially lying.
"good ...Good ... that's all i wanted to hear ... i love you " with a smile .
" i love you too ..." she said
"do i ?" she thought to herself .

She reached her office and about 10 minutes in , Alana came in with Abby's daily schedule .
"You have an appointment with Mr.Brooks today at 11 .And he has confirmed the Cinereous shade for this bedroom walls .So i'll get Eric to get this guys to start with the painting ASAP ."
"ok anything else ?" sipping her glass of water .
"yes you have a lunch meeting with Mr.Hewitt at 1 for the ...."
"yes i remember that anything else " Cutting of Alana
"yes you do have to meet Eric regarding Mr.Brooks project in the evening."
"ok "
As Alana started to walk out of Abby's cabin "Oh and Alana get me a coffee from starbucks piping hot . i really mean H-O-T !' in the most coldest way .
Abby was not a tough boss . But today she could put Anna Wintour to shame .
She rapped up her meeting by Mr.Brooks by 12 . Later Abby took a cab to the Four Seasons hotel for here meeting with Pierce .
She reached there a few minutes before one . She saw Pierce waiting for her . As she walked to him he noticed the big diamond ring on her left hand . He clearly remembered that i was not there yesterday when he met her for the first time in 2 years .
He went completely white ....TBC
