And so it begins...
After being lulled into a false sense of security that Joe was not going to be joining the boat before they returned here to Alameda, the CG did it to me again-- yesterday they informed him that he was to fly out the next day (today). I was then told of this by him right before going to proctor the mid-term tests for CC, Miraculously all the students finished their tests in under an hour--so I was home by 10:30 AM and had plenty of snuggling, mopeing, packing, cuddling, errand running,etc time. Still the night-time dog walk was a sad one, because no matter how pissed we are at eachother, or busy, etc. we always take the dog for her night-time walk together.
He's only leaving for 11 days this time, but then when he gets back, he'll be here for just 4 days before he's off for a whole month!! When he returns from that trip, we have 3 weeks or so and then he'll be gone for 2 whole MONTHS!!!!
I knew this was coming--eventually, I just thought I would have more definitive time to prepare- not just one stinkin' day!!
